PCem v11 mouse issues

Hello,

I am using PCem v11 on my Windows 10 64-bit computer, and I'm having difficulties trying to use the mouse. I've tried Windows 95 OSR2 and Windows 98SE, but every time I move the mouse, the cursor goes crazy in the emulated PC and I have difficulties clicking on pretty much everything. Does anyone use 64-bit Windows 10 for PCem v11, and if so, did you have mouse issues? How would someone fix this?

Any help will be apprecited.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

Print from PC vs SD Card

Hello,

As a new user to 3D Printing and Simplify3D. I feel I've made a great decision with this software even as a hobbyist. I tried searching but was not able to find this exact question. I'm currently using Simplify3D and printing via USB. No issues and I love the progress/features that are updated as it prints. My question is, if I use the USB option, am I sacrificing any quality/setting monitoring through Simplify3D? Aside from an issue of a PC crash, what are the pros and cons of one vs the other?

Any help will be apprecited.

Clicking brick syndrome!

Hello,

My NXT brick is functionally dead. I was trying to download the RobotC firmware onto a new NXT brick when I got an error message—something about 'boot mode', I wish I remembered more—and then the NXT went into the dreaded purgatory known as 'clicking brick syndrome'. I've already tried all the basic suggestions (I tried every possible combination of replacing batteries and performing hard resets, I tried reloading the NXT-G firmware, &c.) but nothing has worked yet.
When I plug the brick into a computer (using Windows 7), it gives me the "new device plugged-in" chime, but neither RobotC nor the Mindstorms NXT software recognize the device, both returning errors like "No NXT bricks connected via USB" and "Cannot locate NXT device to download firmware."Other than going out and buying another NXT brick, what should I do??

Any help will be apprecited.

Problems with motion sensor

Hello,

I had some strange prolems with the motion sensor after stealong 80Gq on a LAN. After the mission the motion sensor changed color to red (Theres more than one person near your gateway). I made a backup of my save and blown up my gateway. Then I upgraded from the sucking start-gateway to "The TRINITY-1686a Gateway". Then I innstalled a motion sensor. When the motion sensor was mounted it was alredy showing red (Theres more than one person near your gateway). I used the "Fast Forward 2" button and let it go. I let it go for 2 months, and it didn't change. Then I loaded the save I backed up and checked the logs at InterNIC. No logs. Then I used the "Fast Forward 2" and got "caught".
Then I loaded from my backup agin and blown up my gateway, re-innstalled the stuff and blew it up agin. I think I had to blow it up 2 - 4 times total before the motion sensor turned to normal. I don't know why I had to blow up my gateway so many times, but I at least, good thing I have money enough to order a new one.

SRM 1.1.6-6931 firmware and Lan 1 issues

Hello,

After SRM 1.1.6-6931 firmware update Lan port 1 does not work .... All other ports are good and the device that was on Lan 1 I just moved to the next available and works like a charm but anything I put on Lan 1 does not get DHCP or allow traffic even with assigned IP. No issues and love the router but this last Firmware just crippled Lan 1?

Intermittent Internet access across the LAN, but no issues for compute

Hello,

Ok sorry for the odd subject, but I wasn’t sure how to get the most people looking at this with out being very vague. Network issues are not my forte, but since I am the office “computer guy” I get called in when something or someone screws something up. Our network here in house has a central server connected to the internet by DSL to a wireless router/modem (netopia). Not counting the server there are four desktops hardwired to the router/modem. Since there are only four ports on the back one of the ports is used to run to another wireless router (linksys). Two other computers access the network wirelessly. All the hardwired desktops must connect to the server to use a centralized scheduling program. I have yet to see any of the desktops fail to connect to the server and be useable. The problem comes from the fact that several of the desktops have intermittent Internet access. They will be able to connect, but after a period of time (nothing specific) they will quit. Sometimes the connection comes back, but most times the computer in question is rebooted and the connection is reestablished. It doesn’t happen to all of them at the same time. The server NEVER loses connection to the Internet, and the computers that connect wirelessly never lose an Internet connection. While the Internet is inaccessible these computers can still talk to the server. This is what puzzles me. If one computer can’t get to the internet none of the other computers should be able to get to the internet, correct? That would mean it is a ISP problem. If all but one can get to the internet shouldn’t that one not be able to talk to the server? That would be a cable or router issue, correct? It just doesn’t make sense. Any thoughts?

Please help

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

Warcraft 3 LAN problems

Hello,

There is a grand total of 3 computers on the network at home, the two involved in this problem are both winxp machines. I decided to let the D-Link router/switch thingy manage dhcp for me, but it always gives us the same IP address anyways. THe problem is that, while file/print sharing works fine over tcpip, neither I nor my brother can join a War3 game started by the other person. They just don't show up on the list. I've dealt with this problem before in other games by simply adding ipx/spx but that didn't seem to do anything for us. It's like 192.168.0.122 and 192.168.0.108 aren't talking, but they DO for sharing files and whatnot.

DoW Dark Crusade Lan issues

Hello,

I am having a strange issue with Dawn of War Dark Crusade. My friends and I have been getting together occasionally for months now to play this game and have had no issues via lan play. I setup the game on my pc (XP) and one of my friends jumps in on my wife's pc (XP) and another friend of mine uses his laptop (XP). My wife recently got a new pc (Vista), and now only one or the other can connect when I create a game for lan play. We are all running the same version of the game but once one of the pc's connects to the game, the other one gets a message stating that they were refused by the host. So if the only thing that has changed is the OS of one of the machines, it stands to reason that I am missing a setting in Vista to allow both machines to connect to the game. Anyone offer any help on this?
